As with all of our design projects, our design team likes to apply nicknames to each project that either comes from an original concept, idea in iconography, or simply put the personality that comes from the design as it is being developed.

For instance, the Koba Residence (Eagle House) is based on a majestic bald eagle landing, while the Canmore Residence (Rib Cage) showcases a “rib cage” style pergola timber frame rear elevation. The Bow Crescent Residence is no different.

As the design was being developed it became apparent that this home was full of nurturing personality. The main front pergola extends out and wraps the seating area as if to be the mother comforting a child. The playful mix of materials gives this residence a sense of calm and a warm welcome to all guests.
